Led by Don Quijote, the core business of the PPIH Group, we aim to create stores that local community customers always select by providing a variety of store formats with different targets, sales floor space, items offers, etc.
To target such demographics as women, families, and seniors and make their daily lives richer, we are deploying a variety of store formats, such as those that serve a broad area and general supermarkets featuring products and services that closely match the needs of the local community.
We operate small-format retail concepts designed to support daily life, focusing primarily on compact stores tailored to small commercial districts in city centers. In addition to "Picasso" and "Kirakira Donki"--convenient stores that embody the essence of the Don Quijote style--we operate a range of store brands, each with its own distinct characteristics, such as "OSC Amaike", which specializes in fresh produce, and "Miuraya" which offers food products with a strong emphasis on quality and safety. Through these efforts, we are committed to creating stores that are deeply rooted in their local communities.
We don't only serve the domestic inbound market but are also expanding our stores in Hawaii and California in the United States and in Southeast Asia, such as Singapore and Thailand. We are also beginning to expand into the Pacific Rim area.
We are also engaged in businesses other than retail, such as real estate, including the development of commercial facilities and the management of dining and amusement facilities, and promoting and advertising tourism in Japan and international exchange.
The PB that focuses on low prices provides the attractions of outstanding quality combined with fun and discovery. We have developed and commercialized a wide range of product categories together with business partners that are very popular with our customers.
