Storewide Cleanup Campaign
Every year during environmental month in June, and in October when the 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) are heavily promoted, UNY conducts a "Clean Campaign" to tidy up the sidewalks and parks around its stores. In June of this year, taking in to account the public restraint on leaving ones own house, the event was unfortunately not held. In October however, around 1400 new people participated in the cleanup activities, which included lawn mowing and picking up trash with members of the stores. This Clean Campaign is one of the main pillars of our social contribution activities, and we will continue to run this event in the future as well.
