51 third-year students from Itoh City West Elementary School participated in a work experience program at the Don Quijote Itoh Store. To avoid crowding on the day, the children were grouped into a tour of the store, as well as an outdoor classroom setting to accommodate them. During the tour of the store, the manager talked about the store's efforts to create an enjoyable experience for customers. The class was conducted in a style that allowed children to actively participate in a quiz about the products that are selling well, so that they could learn and develop an interest towards business. This was covered in a local newspaper, the Izu Shimbun, on October 31st. Don Quijote will continue to strengthen its ties with the local community and support education through its business.
