Kosuke Suzuki

Kosuke Suzuki is a Managing Executive Officer and the Vice President & Representative Director of Don Quijote Co., Ltd. He joined Don Quijote Co., Ltd. in 2000. When he was a student, his hobby was searching for out-of-print records, and he felt a similar spirit of inquiry when he saw our company buyers purchasing limited products by chance on the TV, which led to his decision to join the company.
After working in a role responsible for consumer electronics, as a store manager, in Product Headquarters, and as a Tokyo Chuo area category leader, he became a category leader in the First (Consumer Electronics) Business Division in 2009, and worked in product strategy and cultivation of human resources in areas across Japan; in 2013 he took charge of 25 stores as the general manager of the Saikyo branch. He was also made an executive officer in that same year. After being appointed head of East Japan Sales Headquarters, he worked concurrently with UD retail from 2017. He was made head of UD Retail Co., Ltd.'s Sales Headquarters in 2019, and its vice president & representative director in 2020; in this role he is taking on the challenge of changing the business format of UNY stores.
In his work, he emphasizes keeping a constant eye out to gain a sense of the trends. He also has the creativity to assimilate the merits of other companies and to make changes that will create new demand.
